Tree Surgery

Tree Surgery and information by Green Belt

We are one of Renfrewshire's premier tree surgeons. We are fully qualified and insured to carry out domestic and commerical tree work, with our state of the art equipment. Contact us now to arrange scheduled or emergency tree work.

Equipment

Being qualified tree surgeons means we have been fully trained in all aspects of tree surgery, including the handling of our powerful machinery.  A variety of chainsaws allow us to handle delicate jobs as easily as we can handle quick emergency tree clearance.  We also have a wood chippping machine that allows us to create wood chips that are then recycled and used for other purposes. No job is too large or too small for us to handle.

To see our tools/machinery, please visit our Machines page.

Domestic & Commercial Tree Work

Our Domestic work covers a wide variety of tree work, including trimming and pruning hedges/trees.

Our Commerical work with Companies and Councils to maintain trees, tree removal and emergency work on storm damaged trees.

Storm Damage

Storm damage is a common problem in Scotland, with gale force winds causing major damage to trees. High Winds can break and/or snap branches off, leaving roads blocked and causing damage to property.

Minor trees can also suffer by being bent by the winds and tend to retain that shape. In worst case senarios, trees can actually be uprooted and fall over.

If you experience any form of storm damage to your own or surrounding trees, please contact us to get a free quote, or for emergency service.

Insurance Cover

We are fully insured and trained to carry out tree surgery work.  Here are the details of our level of cover.

  • Holding insurer – NFU Mutual
  • £10 million Public Liability Insurance
  • £10 Employer’s Liability Insurance
  • Up to £2m Professional Indemnity Insurance

Recycling of Chips/Wood

Our wood chipper machine allows us to reduce the volume of the trees/branches/clippings into manageable chips which we can easily transport away.  These chips are then recycled appropriately to prevent them becoming landfill.  We currently have arrangements with a number of farms and other groups who are delighted to use our wood chips.
